Immigration

"KILL THE BASTARDS!"

"DEPORT THEM!"

"THEY TOOK OUR JOBS!"

My father used to love to tell me, "If they come in one time, deport 'em. If they come in a second time, shoot them on sight...."

Now, I don't think that's very noble of him. In fact, I think it's downright mean. But it's not like us Americans aren't bloodthirsty anyway. Just look at the wars we engage in. They're not even wars. They're invasions. We are the takers.

Here is my opinion:

We want impoverished people to come into our country and do the difficult work so we don't have to. We have hypocritically made laws preventing their ability to come in. Once they are here, we don't enforce the laws and let them stay. This acts like a bludgeon against the working class. "If you ever get out of line, I'll just call somebody and have you deported."

So how do we change? The best way to change is to take responsibility for your life. Wipe your own anus. Stop eating meat and dairy. Eat good food. Take time to choose the fruits and vegetables from the supermarket. Grow your own. Prepare them well. Make a nice meal for yourself and those you care about. Get healthy so you can use your body to perform work easier. Don't expect everyone else to do the hard jobs for you. Take initiative. Mexicans are our landscapers, construction workers, janitors, and warehouse workers. We should be able to do these jobs. If you can't do the jobs they are doing, why do you consume the products and services they provide?

If everyone took better care of themselves, there probably wouldn't be an immigration problem. We wouldn't even need to make a law, let alone enforce one.

We exploit Mexican labor. That's you and me. If we change, the world will change.
