Growing up, I was privileged to be taught about the spirit world. Instead of getting a fire and brimstone doctrine about the hell you may go to if you sin, I was taught that there are many different planes of the spirit world and you went to the location with people that had a similar level of love and enjoyed the company of those with similar tastes.
Unfortunately, that was the limit of the knowledge I got. The Divine Truth teachings gave me a deeper perspective on the spirit world and also spirit possession. It has helped deepen my awareness of what may be out there and also notice certain interactions among people where there is heavy spirit influence.
For instance, I have heard many stories of people becoming furious and having no memory of what they did in their fury.
I was driving a client years ago when she shared an experience where her brother beat her up so badly that she had to get reconstructive surgery on her face. Amazingly they were both adults at the time. I asked her how she feels now about her brother and she said she loved him and forgave him. It was partly due to the fact that when she confronted him about he had done, he had no memory of it.
Here is another example. I was in the breakroom at work. I had gotten a small pizza box out of the fridge and opened it to see what was inside. Much of the food at work is bought for the employees but some food the employees refrigerate themselves. Suddenly, a female co-worker comes in and begins blasting me. "What are you doing with my food, you fucker? That's mine! Close that box and put it back!"
If I committed any sin at that moment, it was the greediness I had with someone else's food. But I did not eat the food and so I felt that my mistake was a small one. The anger displayed towards me was completely unethical. So, instead of capitulating to her demand, I said, "No, but I'll give it to you."
I then put the box, still open, into her hands and walked out.
A bit later, I came back into the breakroom and saw that same co-worker completely changed. She was contrite about how she blew up at me and even offered me some of her pizza. She was so different than earlier that I actually accepted. By the way, I have had many instances like this where I stood up to a bully with kindness instead of returning with aggression and have had positive outcomes like this one.
A few days later, many of us were talking about the incident in the same breakroom. One co-worker who watched the scene take place said she looked ready to tear off my head. The female co-worker in question then said, "Yeah, I was really upset. But I'm glad he did what I asked and put the box back in the fridge."
I was really surprised by this. I remember specifically not doing this as a personal challenge to myself where I don't give in to a demand. How could she remember it the other way. I pressed her about it and she was absolutely certain that I put it back myself. That was evidence for me that a spirit may have overtaken her in that moment.
Another incident occurred recently where a woman was blowing up at the caretaker of a Hindu Temple I often visit. I say blowing up but she was being more delicate than the co-worker at work. She was interrogating the caretaker about a complaint she had lodged with the board of directors, talking fast and cutting him off. I could tell immediately, from what I learned from DT that she was masking a lot of rage under a facade of being concerned about a request she made. The caretaker and another staff member were also doing there best to manage the woman's rage without removing her which may have been more loving but might cause eyebrows to raise at the religious center. There again was a great example of possible spirit possession.
I say it's possible because I haven't been able to prove that is what's going on. I feel like my senses are being more heightened the more I receive help from my spirit friends, work to release emotions, and receive God's help and love. Seeing spirits would be the ultimate proof for myself. While I can't do that, I seem to be noticing spirit communication more from my guides and also darker spirits who would like to motivate my behavior. It often comes more in the form of impressions and bodily feelings as opposed to a voice in my head.
