Imagining the Future of Websites

I am currently going through the grueling process of downloading all my videos from Youtube onto a 1TB external hard drive. This important work is not fun for me and brings up emotions about some of the damage I may have caused through my past work.

Anyway, many people I follow have their own websites and I would like to create one someday. Currently, I like using Google's excellent Youtube and Blogger services as the prospect of creating my own website seems daunting to me. However, it does excite me that I would have more control of my work through a personal website instead of relying on Google.

When I think about what I would put on my website, I would like videos to be embedded (right word?) as well as all my blog posts available. So really the blog would be there instead of on Blogger. Additionally, I might like to make many of my personal journals available in a separate section. My personal journal is private more because it would be too much for the average person to read through. I would still like to make it available as some inquiring souls may benefit from it.

Just a quick reminder on privacy: God already knows every single thought in your mind and every emotion in your soul. If I remember the DT teachings correctly, every spirit can also read those things in you but maybe I have it confused and they can only read your thoughts. No matter the case, you don't have a facade in the spirit world which you go to every night anyway. So if you still have trouble being honest, it may be a good idea to pray to God on that subject.

So back to the topic at hand: I would like to have a list of all my videos and blog posts and journal entries. I would also like to have a section that allows people to donate and a section that shows my purchases and my income. There is not a lot of desire to share that personal info on the planet now and so the technology is not there yet where finances can be easily shared.

But with the emergence of better technologies, I believe there will be a meaningful integration of these things. I can see a future where we don't even have external hard drives but only use the cloud. The problem with the cloud, however, is that you are reliant on organizations that may not be very ethical to store your data and sometimes are avoiding the important responsibility of watching over your things. I believe companies too will become more ethical as the Divine Truth or God's Truth spreads more and people come to accept it.

So anyway, these are exciting thoughts.

I am avoiding using the term Artificial Intelligence because I don't believe it's very intelligent. I believe that we are the highest of God's Creations and that people often feel that we can create something better than God created. That would directly negate the Truth that we are God's greatest Creation and also suggest God is not as powerful as Le is.

Anyway, my own fears aside, we are coming up with better technologies that allow us to put all of our data together easily. Maybe we will come up with a technology that extracts all my online content and personal journal and makes a website that I like in an instant. I definitely see that happening.
